## GET /v1/changelog

0.5.0 · 2026-10-30 · api · https://waity.ai/changelog#changelog

`GET /v1/changelog` returns these entries as JSON and doesn't count against your limit. They are also at [/changelog.md](https://waity.ai/changelog.md) and in an Atom feed at [/changelog.xml](https://waity.ai/changelog.xml).

## Answer changes

0.4.0 · 2026-10-30 · api, mcp · https://waity.ai/changelog#answer-fixes

- `coverage` has a new value, `partial`: Waity tracks only some places of that kind there (always true for ERs and urgent care), or the nearest tracked place is far away. A warning says closer places may exist. If you switch on `coverage`, handle the new value.
- `next.under_status` has a new value, `not_now`, for a live wait above your threshold with no forecast yet.
- `next.forecast` shows values only at medium or high confidence.

## Plans

0.3.0 · 2026-10-30 · accounts, api · https://waity.ai/changelog#accounts-and-billing

- `GET /v1/plans` lists the plans: Free (1,000 calls a day, one key), Pro ($29 a month, 50,000 calls, 5 keys) and Team ($199 a month, 500,000 calls, 25 keys).
- Keys on one account share the plan's daily limit.

Accounts open soon. Until then, keys come from `POST /v1/keys`.

## More places, and children-only ERs

0.2.0 · 2026-10-30 · data, api · https://waity.ai/changelog#places-and-audience

- More ERs and urgent care centers in New York, and security lanes at Reagan National (DCA).
- `place.audience` is `children` for children-only ERs and urgent care. They are never offered as an alternative for an adult.
- When a wait is posted as "over" a number, `now.bound` is `lower`: say "over 60 min", never "60 min".

## API v1 and MCP server

0.1.0 · 2026-10-30 · api, mcp · https://waity.ai/changelog#api-v1-and-mcp

Live and usual wait times for ERs, urgent care, DMV offices, airport security lanes and land border crossings.

- `GET /v1/places` finds places near a point, or by name, city, ZIP or airport code. `GET /v1/places/{id}` answers for one place, with `next` (when the line should drop) and nearby alternatives in `instead`.
- The MCP server at `https://api.waity.ai/mcp` has two tools, `find_waits` and `get_wait`.
- Every place has the same shape in every response. A field that doesn't apply is `null`, never missing, and a missing number always comes with a reason.
- 100 calls a day without a key, 1,000 with a free key from `POST /v1/keys`. The guide is at [/llms.txt](https://api.waity.ai/llms.txt), the schema at [/openapi.json](https://api.waity.ai/openapi.json).
