Waity for developers

One API and one MCP server for live and usual wait times. Every answer comes with a sentence an agent can repeat, and a reason whenever a number is missing.

To search near a person, pass their location as X-Waity-Location: lat,lng rather than near=lat,lng, to keep it out of URLs and logs:

MCP

Add the server to Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http waity https://api.waity.ai/mcp

Any MCP client that speaks streamable HTTP can use https://api.waity.ai/mcp. Two tools: find_waits and get_wait.

Keys

Calls without a key are limited per day. A free key raises the limit. Get a free key.

Rules of the road

• Show the attribution lines Waity returns with every answer.
• Quote summary or now.value; never present a missing value as zero.
• For ERs, pass on the note: for a medical emergency, call 911.
