Privacy
Waity never stores who you are.
Waity is about places, not people. There are no accounts on this site, no cookies, and no advertising or tracking scripts.
Your location
If you tap a near-me button, such as "Show what's near me", your browser asks for your permission first. It then rounds your position to about 1 km and sends it to Waity once, to find the nearest places. The position goes in the request itself, not in the web address, so it doesn't end up in your browser history or in links you share. Waity doesn't store it or link it to you, and never sends it to the places listed.
What Waity does count
- Demand per place. How many times each place was looked up, per hour. No caller, no location, nothing about you.
- Page views. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying visitors.
- API usage. Calls without a key are counted against a daily limit using a one-way code that changes every day, so they can't be linked from one day to the next. Waity never stores IP addresses, user agents or coordinates.
API keys
When you ask for a key, Waity stores a scrambled, one-way version of your email address (a hash), never the address itself. It uses it only to stop one address from getting many keys.
Waity doesn't send email. If you lose your key, write to ops@waity.ai from the address you used.
Service providers
Waity runs on Cloudflare, which handles every request to deliver the site. Waity has turned off the logs that would record full web addresses.
