Quickstart

Connect an agent and get a live wait in three steps. Trying it needs no key: keyless calls get 100 a day.

  1. Connect Waity

    MCP clients get three tools: find_waits, get_wait and get_history. The REST API needs no setup: its base URL is https://api.waity.ai.

    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "waity": {
          "url": "https://api.waity.ai/mcp"
        }
      }
    }

  2. Ask for a wait

    In an MCP client, ask in plain words: “How long is the wait at the El Paso border crossings?” Over REST, call GET /v1/places with a place name, a city or a location.

    curl "https://api.waity.ai/v1/places?q=El+Paso&category=border&view=minimal"

  3. Read the answer

    Repeat summary as it is, read warnings to the user first and show the attribution lines.
